Your Role and Responsibilities
As an Application Developer, you will lead IBM into the future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. The success of IBM is in your hands as you transform vital business needs into code and drive innovation. Your work will power IBM and its clients globally, collaborating and integrating code into enterprise systems. Responsibilities:
Responsible to work with a team to develop web platforms, solutions, applications, and interfaces
You will be responsible for design, architecture, solutioning and maintaining of ecommerce and custom commerce applications
Provide support for the optimization effort of applications, with emphasis on improvements to application performance and page loading times.
Test solutions to acceptable standards prior to handing over to System Testing
Contribute to the implementation of effective website maintenance, monitoring and development strategies
Develop new code and improve existing code to provide stable, high-performance solutions

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Strong Coding and developer skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Good knowledge of commerce, portal and marketing platforms
Good understanding of Magento/SAPCX/HCL Commerce Applications
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Fast learner and constant focus on knowledge enhancement technology
