Job Description : Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Certified Salesforce Platform Developer I or II.
3 years of experience in the configuration and custom development for Salesforce product areas.
Experience working with Java and/or another programming language.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Salesforce Field Service Lightning development.
CRM domain knowledge with relevance to the cloud industry and its sales channels.
Demonstrated capability to develop relationships with key stakeholders/partners.
Demonstrable skills on web technologies (CSS, HTML5, XML, JavaScript, JSON, and/or Ajax) and Web Services (RESTful, SOAP)
About the job
As an Application Engineer, you’ll play a major role in developing, deploying and supporting Google’s internal business applications serving the Consumer Hardware team. When the situation calls for it, you’ll be part of a team that implements vendor sourced enterprise software, configuring that software, customizing it, and integrating with other internal systems. Other times, you’ll be primarily tasked with creating custom-built software.

Responsibilities
Partner with engineering, business, privacy, security, and legal teams to enable and sustain critical business systems that support the Devices and Services product area.
Design, develop, and sustain business critical applications, leveraging a broad spectrum of technologies, including the Salesforce platform.
Work with teams to create an integrated CRM platform to support cross-functional use cases. Develop and support Salesforce applications using Apex and Lightning technologies.
Build relationships with internal and external partners to help drive long-term system vision. Lead and manage the design, configuration and deployment of medium complexity CRM and other modules to support sales automation.
