Good experience in airport/airline operations and vehicle management
Experience working with airport eco systems
7+ years of experience playing Lead role: Team Lead / Tech Lead / Project Lead / Scrum Master
Knowledge in Design and Development of Web applications in Java, Angular, PostgreSQL/Oracle Database, WebAPI, XML, Dockers, Rest API, React JS, Node JS, Java Script
Knowledge of IoT platforms, communications and embedded product life cycles
Prior experience with stakeholders and vendor management is preferred
Prior experience in Design and Development of standalone application
Prior experience in defining the scope and estimation of a project
Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects
Good experience in managing Software Support/Sustain and Maintenance activities
Prior experience in software configuration management tools
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication
Job Responsibilities
Manage organizational responsibilities: Staffing/Hiring, On-boarding, Talent Management; Performance Management; Change Management, Competency Development, Trainings and Stakeholder Management etc
Provide technical leadership, guidance and direction for team members in identifying, understanding, and resolving technical issues encountered on projects
Monitor project performance, and conducting course corrective action as needed, status reporting and communications with senior leadership (internal/external)
Understand and drive the adoption of newer technologies in projects and application rationalization initiatives
Meet all customer and project commitments and assure that all work is completed within cost, quality & schedule requirements.
Handle multiple programs within a domain or handles multi-disciplinary project/program
Self-motivated, capable of leading a large team towards the goal/s, commitment to continuous improvement.
Provide leadership and direction in the implementation, adherence, and continuous improvement of the software engineering processes and procedures
Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Engineering Leads in IMS US team to ensure projects are appropriately staffed
Evaluate and mentor staff on technical and non-technical aspects of their job responsibilities
Collaborate with peers and other engineering managers within the IMS engineering organization to establish best practices for knowledge management and information sharing
