Design and architect the implementation of data lake, data warehouse and business intelligence solutions using various technologies
Own and drive the data architecture for a program / productAble to identify the right technology architecture that would solve the business problemsShould be able to own and be responsible for the complete architecture of the solutionExcellent data modelling skills, and a solid understanding of robust scalable data architectureDemonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving capabilityIdentify and propose potential data model and data integration changes and improvementsGood understanding of the data eco-system, both current and future data trendsExpertise in Data Engineering patterns and practices for efficient & optimised utilisation from raw dataLead a team of technical people, mentor and guide them during the solution
Roles and Responsibilities
Design and implement various components of data pipeline that include data integration, extraction, storage, processing, and analysis of business dataProficient in creating flowcharts, process flows and data flow diagramsShould have excellent knowledge in data warehouse / data lake technology and business intelligence conceptsShould have good knowledge in Relational, No-SQL, Big Data Databases and should be able to write queriesShould have strong implementation experience in cloud data eco-system, preferably Azure Analytics components like Data Factory, Synapse, HDInsights, Data ExplorerExperience in any Data integration tools like Talend & Informatica and Ingestion mechanism like Flume & KafkaData modelling – Dimensional & transactional modelling using RDBMS, NO-SQL and Big Data technologies. Experience in Snowflake modelling would be an advantageHands-on experience with multiple databases like PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Oracle, MS SQL Server, NOSQL (HBase / Cassandra, MongoDB), is requiredKnowledge in Data visualization Tools like Tableau, Power BI or any similar toolsBig data – Hadoop eco-system, Distributions like Cloudera / Hortonworks, Pig and HIVE is preferrable10+ years of experience in the data engineering space with implementation experience in high-volume data projects
