Job Description
The Product You Will Work On (MADS)
MADS is Datakrew’s flagship product – world’s first open-source distributed platform for large-scale IoT applications. It is a no-code IoT enablement platform that brings dashboard, digital twin, analytics, reports and other apps together into one platform. MADS brings high-performance software engineering to IoT and is built using leading software technologies for next-gen IoT applications.
Your Roles and Responsibilities
Administer cloud-based Infrastructure deployment, including tasks such as the provisioning/de-provisioning of resources, maintaining security posture, user administration, monitoring computing resource utilization, network setup, backup/restore, and incident management.
Conduct troubleshooting root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive measures during and after each incident.
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) on the cloud platform being worked on.
Support audit and infrastructure/network security scans, disaster recovery, and security related drills.
Contribute to the technical direction and strategic decisions in terms of platform, infrastructure, and architecture.
Promote best practices across the team, and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
Required Software Aptitude and Qualifications
Cloud experience in AWS, GCP or Azure with hands-on experience in the latest infra tech like Kubernetes, Containers, and serverless architecture desirable.
Strong command over UNIX, Experience with Linux is desired
Experience with Infra automation and testing (i.e. Terraform and Terratest/Inspec)
Experience with CI /CD (i.e. Jenkins, GithubCI)
Experience with Database and Storage Management
Experience with Configuration Management (i.e. Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
Experience with Containerisation and Orchestration (i.e Docker Swarm, Kubernetes)
Experience with Scripting technologies (i.e. bash, python etc.)
At least 3 yrs of software experience with at least 2 yr in DevOps.

It will be a remote working till pandemic.
