Role Summary
Provide technical expertise as a subject matter expert (SME) for SAP FI/CO and provide solution to service requests/incidents/problems.
Essential Responsibilities / Expectations
Provide application support as an FI/CO consultant for global stakeholders
Get to the root cause of operational issues, diagnose problem areas, design and build solutions
Convert business requirements to application specific functional design and define clear test plans
Coordinate with blueprint team to realize functional design
Perform functional and integration tests to confirm solution design before deployment to production environment.
Ensure documentation of highest quality for around solutions
Ensure appropriate use of SWTS project management tools, governance, processes, policies and methodologies.
Drive actively towards faster and more effective incident resolution in close co-ordination with the FI/CO lead and Global Process Owners
Pro-Active and reactive problem management activities in alignment with business consultants.
Good understanding in the following areas
Organization Structure Designing
Company Code Setup
COA, Posting Periods
General Ledger
Fixed Assets,
Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable
G/L Master Data, Customer and Vendor
Configuration of Automatic Payments
Financial Statements, Integration with SD and MM
Cost Center Accounting
Product Costing, Material Ledger Tax and Stat
Project Systems
Candidate should have worked in a utilities industry
Basic understanding of all functional modules in SAP

Technical Expertise:
Provide solutions in a timely manner
Ability to preempt support issues, be proactive around support issues with our customer
Willingness to learn and develop new skills across FI/CO modules
Willingness to learn and develop new skills across other Cross function modules
Business Acumen:
Working with business teams to learn and understand business processes
Provide input to business operations, blueprint teams for continuous improvement
Personal Attributes
Stay curious to build expertise to develop self
Work with teams, to function horizontally and vertically
Educational Qualification
BTech , BSc , MBA , BCom , Master of Commerce , MCA, Chartered Accountant
Minimum 3 to 5 years of SAP experience in Finance, Controlling and Project Systems
Good communication skills with ability to understand business processes and translate the same into solutions
Strong SAP standard configuration knowledge
