Data Functional Implementation Lead is critical role in any ERP implementation, is liaison between business and data COE. Responsible for understanding the Master Data and Transactional Data objects related to ERP, especially SAP Master and Transactional Data. Should have experience with data management processes and tools (MS-SQL Server, Tableau, Informatica, SharePoint). Knowledge of data quality, data management, data visualization. Must have knowledge of SAP Material Master Knowledge of Supply Chain, NPI, Engineering Change, Bill of Materials. Experience in Manufacturing, ISC, Operations or related field. Strong interpersonal communications skills and collaborative work style This position leads the development and deployment of the Honeywell Building Technology (HBT) Data strategy, providing solutions to business challenges, defining requirements and providing a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Help deploy data solutions using “Best in the Breed” business practices including requirements gathering, scope definition, solution architecture, gap identification and gap resolution. Contribute to project risk management at Idea stage and throughout the project, making plans to mitigate them and communicate to Project Manager. Lead data related workshops, ensuring Global Design Model (GDM) is adopted and communicated effectively.
Must have experience analyzing data needs and building supporting processes. Should be familiar with data management principles and tools. Data process improvement experience (within transaction request process most desirable). Excellent communication skills with functional and technical peers, and ability to adapt message to both technical and non-technical audiences. Understanding of SAP and manufacturing processes to lead data projects and work with site personnel to determine data standards and data quality.
Demonstrate a deep understanding of business requirements and translate them into data project plans that provide competitive advantage. Assure Project Management provides an exceptional user experience, while being compliant, on time, within budget and schedule
JOB ACTIVITIES
Work with Enterprise IT functional team to fully understand the global template for Master Data scoping and Sizing.
Gather and consolidate business requirements in Master Data.
Create and update Data Mapping documentation, project timelines and carry out score card analysis.
Help develop and execute data project plan.
Work with Super users / Power users and IT to implement rule-based cleansing needs
Coordinate data acquisition and standardization activities.
Support Project Managers & COE’s regarding functional aspects of the project
Analyze enterprise business drivers to determine corresponding change requirements
Develop a solution strategy on the evolution of the enterprise application from current to future state
Coordinate data scope and sizing, data mapping, scorecard analysis, data extraction, defect logs, audit data mapping and oversee project timelines and processes.
Work closely with the project office to ensure alignment of plans with what is being delivered.
Capture, assess and prioritize key business Data gaps from all sites that are part of a deployment project
Build reports with real-time data using Tableau, Power BI like visualization tools.
Partake in design and data mapping sessions related to data integration between SAP and other applications.
Reconcile differences between business unit processes and lead the team to consensus
Empowered to make decisions driving to the best business process to keep project moving forward within the Global Template
Educate process leadership on the benefits of the “To-Be” design for data and the change implications for their organization.
Work with SBU process owners during the deployment process to ensure business ownership throughout the program
Map Global User profiles to local business roles in coordination with Super Users and Functional Security Point of contact
Ensure that all users can operate new business process effectively with minimum impact to the business
BASIC QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years in Data management within ERP. Including two years of reporting/data visualization experience
Demonstrated leadership skills
One or more years working experience in cross functional teams
