The Role

The Sr. E2E Integration Engineer is responsible for integration & testing of HE components for Irdeto multiple product lines viz CA,MW etc . Integration engineer shall have strong knowledge of DVB/MPEG standards and hands on HE components like Multiplexer, SI/PSI, Modulator etc. Integration Engineer also closely works with the end to end STB test teams to understand the issues from MW prospective and effectively communicate same with the engineering team. Integration engineer shall have proficiency in working in Linux Environment.

In this role you will be joining our Video Entertainment team. From managing new technology implementations, combating online piracy, offering anti-cheat methods for gaming to supporting customers’ demand for high-quality multi-screen experiences Irdeto deliver to a global customer base.

This is a customer facing role in this role you will be Liaising at many levels with other teams and departments, it is important to possess good interpersonal skills and possess the ability to tailor your communication based upon the context. Most of the teams’ work is reacting dynamically to customer affecting issues related to our support of “live” production systems. It is therefore important to be flexible, adaptable and accommodating as requirements can change regularly, often with little or no notice.

Your mission at Irdeto:

Responsible for integration & testing of HE components for Irdeto multiple product lines viz CA, MW etc
Proficiency in working in Linux Environment
Required to work closely with the end-to-end STB test teams to understand the issues from MW perspective and effectively communicate same with the engineering team.
Needs to take a proactive role to understand any customer-related queries and provide a satisfactory response back after required internal discussions.
Required to work closely with 3rd parties (Headend vendors, System integrators), solution architect, engineering, and test teams to ensure the issues related to MW on customer platforms are well understood and closed to customer’s satisfaction.
This role may require travel for interactions with customers, 3rd parties, and MW engineering teams.
Responsible for providing the required inputs to Project Manager for preparation of Statement of Work.

How you can add value to the team?

Technical and/or Engineering background.
Should have strong knowledge of DVB/MPEG standards and hands-on HE components like Multiplexer, SI/PSI, Modulator, etc.
Should have a working knowledge of Linux Systems
Should have a good understanding of software architecture & processes, build environment & configuration management, STB Middleware/drivers & applications.
Multiple years of Integration & testing experience on DVB systems.
Good Software Engineering and Debugging skills.
Knowledge of the broadcast industry with respect to workflow, operation, and technologies.
Good understanding of Database systems like Oracle, SQL.
Good Understanding of Conditional Access, Billing System, Head end architecture, STB integration, and Agile methodology.
Basic Understandings on Customer subscriber management and Billing system.
