Your Opportunity

Drive the next generation Walmart retail systems platform and services by conceptualizing, designing, building and deploying highly scalable and robust technical solutions. You will use your engineering experience and technical skill to materially affect how millions of orders are processed and fulfilled every day. Design high performance and scalable solutions that meet the needs of millions of Walmart customers and its next generation Logistic system. Build solutions that enable sophisticated analytics on terabytes of data collected from various sources. Implement cutting edge models and algorithms that operate on massive amounts of data. Develop high performance and scalable solutions that extract, transform, and load big data. Help the team leverage and contribute to opensource technologies.

Your Responsibility

Lead cross-functional teams spread across geography to deliver complex program
Define, monitor and improve critical to success metrics for the success of the program
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
Plan and manage multiple parallel projects
Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels
Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
Apply best practices to the software development life cycle for projects based on experiences with a number of agile and blended approaches, as well effectively coordinating the implementations across teams using very different approaches
Interact with Project Sponsors, Project Stakeholders and multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver complex features
Work very closely with various business stakeholders to drive the execution of multiple business plans and technologies
Ensure consistent and transparent status updates with all stakeholders (engineering, Business, product, leadership)
Ensure the following of Scrum and Kanban Rituals as needed

Your Qualifications

An Engineering Degree – B.E/B.Tech/MS/PhD in any stream – Computer Science preferred.
3+ years of Technical Program Management experience in a related industry.
7+ years of relevant work experience in internet-related program and/or technical program management in a software applications environment
Experience building processes, project management, and release schedules.
Strong project management & cross – group collaboration skills.
Prior experience with agile methodologies
Solid understanding of the current web technologies and general ability to ramp up and go deep into based on need.
Think creatively and critically about product features, architecture, and capabilities with innate curiosity and ability to self-start in an ambiguous and rapidly changing startup environment
Good problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically
Preferably CSM/SAFe certified
Strong experience in Project Management Information systems including but not limited to Jira and Confluence
