Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Technology Lead

Global Banking Technology (GBT) is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm?s WM Technology Division. We are responsible for creating innovative technology solutions for the Private Banking Group (PBG), one of the strategic growth areas of the Firm, providing cash management and lending products and services to our WM clients. This includes state-of-the-art technology for a nationwide network of Private Bankers and product specialists who work with Financial Advisors to provide access to products and services such as online banking, cards, deposit products, residential mortgages, securities based loans and tailored lending. Position Description
The ideal candidate will be a Senior Robotic Process Automation Architect to empower a new automation practice for the company. This team lead will partner with several departments in the firm to automate tasks and unlock valuable time for people to invest back into serving our customers. As a core engineering team member, you will have the opportunity to implement solutions using the latest in robotic automation and applying your technical, design and analytical skills. You will work and collaborate alongside high caliber, motivated analysts, process owners, and other engineers from across the firm in order to deliver business value.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Designing the automation solutions using the RPA capablities
Understand the best way to leverage vendor software to achieve the business results
Optimize the utilization of virtual hardware, including cloud solutions, to achieve business results.
Provide guidance on best practices of automation, help define standards and patterns for automation
Provide internal consulting services for RPA
Partner with various departments to identify processes for automation
Provide the guidelines and best practices for creating automated processes for efficiency, reuse, and maintainability.
Train and educate line of business analysts on RPA capabilities, process, and tools.
Provide level 3 support
Ensure a smooth transition for automation into production
Partner with both the process owners, production support teams, and infrastructure engineering teams for continuous monitoring and transparency into bot execution
QUALIFICATIONS
Skill Set
Understanding all aspects of the RPA domain
Understanding of multitier application design
Agile Software Development Lifecycle
Basic brokerage middle and back office operational processes

Candidate may benefit from interest or experience in any of the following:
Data analytics experience
Experience implementing automation for a combination of in-house and third party vendor applications
Implementation of any ML/AI related technologies or use cases related to RPA
Experience in building solutions from the ground up; understanding how to navigate ill-defined problem sets
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, TRAINING
Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering or similar technical degree
UiPath Academy Developer certificationBasic:
Minimum of 10+ years’ experience
4 years or more experience designing, developing and maintaining enterprise scale automation systems
Experience with process engineering and re-engineering
Core understanding of software engineering principles (e.g. encapsulation, extensibility, maintainability)
