Position :

Job Description : By incorporating your hands-on knowledge with application development and mission critical production environments, you will affect change, drive automation, and lead development of innovative improvements and world-class practices. The team will be responsible for driving results and they’ll look to you to provide technical leadership to move them forward.
You will be responsible for both uplifting and maintaining our evolving technology platforms, infrastructure and technology controls. This includes application support for production operations of our systems, as well as development/engineering of solutions to improve observability & traceability, DevOps tasks such as building CI/CD pipelines and maximize system reliability.
Your role also include root cause analysis of incidents and pro-active prevention of recurrence through the creative design and development of technical solutions & process improvements. You will partner with Infrastructure, Operations and vendor teams to identify and implement automation opportunities to drive down toil, reduce technical debt and improve system stability.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, information Technology, or equivalent technical field
Minimum 5 years of relevant Information Technology experience in systems engineering, software development and production support
Understanding of SRE concepts and a proven experience working on automation or application development using any programing language.
Solid technical skills including knowledge of client server technology, including networks, storage, load balancing, server clustering database technology, end to end understanding of 3-tier application architecture (frontend – application server – database).
Hands-on experience of automating tasks and writing tools in scripting languages (e.g. Python, Powershell, Bash Scripting), plus an interest in learning other coding languages and skills as needed
Knowledge of Windows operating systems and relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL
Knowledge of web hosting technologies like apache / tomcat or other equivalent web/app servers with strong debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Good working knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. Splunk, AppDynamics)
Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups.
Strong desire to learn new technology.
Ability to work independently as a self-starter, and within a team environment.
Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
Comfortable in a fast dynamic environment with an ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The ability to work on-call nights/weekends as needed.
Preferred/Desired Skills

Banking Experience is preferred
Understanding of Voice Surveillance preferably with exposure to NICE Actimize is a plus.
Customer centric – preferable from technical support roles and/or professional services
