Job Description : Our clients from Pharma Industry are looking for a Senior WebLogic Administrator. A Weblogic Administrator is in charge of developing processes and procedures connected to Oracle WebLogic and utilities. They make sure all systems meet the performance specifications and are in line with customer requirements. This role will function along with diversely trained professionals in dealing with software and issues concerned with the middleware platform.
Tasks
Upgrade weblogic and migrate all the applications on them to latest version;
Troubleshoot and resolve simple to highly complex technical issues related to Oracle WebLogic, Fusion Middleware Server, Coherence Servers;
Focus on JVM Tuning, Performance Tuning, Clustering & Advanced Security;
Good knowledge in creating and configuring high availability for application;
Hands-on in creating and maintaining JDBC data sources, JMS modules in weblogic;
Knowledge in capturing and analyzing thread dumps and heap dumps;
Troubleshoot and help resolve SOA/ OFM Forms and reports issues;
Upgrade and patching of WebLogic servers and oracle Fusion Middleware;
Manage Oracle Fusion Middleware Instances using EM;
Provide On-Call support to Production Systems;
Good Communications Skills and should be able to communicate with the Client and On-site team;
Must have extensive knowledge of Oracle Fusion Middleware Products like WebLogic, oracle forms and reports;
UNIX/ LINUX scripting knowledge is required;
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent;
Possess strong technical skills in automation, troubleshooting, problem-solving in the Windows, Linux server environments to support applications;
Knowledge in Oracle RDBMS, any specific application-level language working knowledge is always helpful;
Experience in automation scripting knowledge (Perl, Python, and Unix Shell Scripting etc.) is a great advantage;
Strong experience in SQL, database tuning, capacity planning based on the performance of the application is a plus;
Passion for solving complex problems actively that delights the customers;
Possess good organizational and communication skills with a “Can Do” attitude;
Ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel, proactive, self-motivated, detail-oriented and organized;
Strong & excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to dive in and learn complex systems;
The ability to adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment and to provide technical skills support to the team with high collaboration is key;
