Job Description : Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Build consumer love by creating unforgettable brand moments, and build plans based on strong and relevant consumer insights. Build credibility and cultural relevance by turning moments into movements. Grow market share for adidas in India and ensure strong sell out KPIs across channels, and specifically be responsible to deliver revenue and consumer acquisition targets for own ecom.
Key Responsibilities:
Represent all aspects of Marketing for adidas brand in India including key campaigns and launches, calendars and processes, partners and athletes, events and initiatives.
Sharpen the Brand’s positioning/ perception, while strengthening its connection to athletes, consumers and other sport stakeholders, in the Market
Analyse business performance and seize business opportunities across the Markets to meet and/or exceed KPIs and financial targets
Align with Market range selection process and pricing strategy across all categories with an aim to support and drive brand priority product ranges, franchises and concepts, based on the Global range and in coordination with the BU leads within Emerging Markets
Lead and steer the execution of global and local brand and sports marketing strategies/concepts across all categories
Drive the Market’s Strategic Business Plan to ensure alignment between go-to-Market strategies and the financial targets
Effectively manage the assigned Marketing Working Budget, optimizing ROI.
Drive consumer/channel matrix management and ensure the Market has the proper tools and support to effectively implement the go-to-Market plan
Drive execution of go-to-Market plans for all categories
Own and steer the execution of the Brand Strategy, ensuring consistent deployment throughout India, with focus on key cities
Own the seasonal calendar and MWB allocation there of
Provide a clear vision and direction with relevant objectives and KPIs.
Establish a high performance culture and drive employee engagement, leading by example.
Provide a suitable performance framework for direct reports by setting performance targets and coaching for continuous improvement.
Identify and develop high-potential talents, to fuel the team’s succession plan.
Look for opportunities to provide cross-functional experiences to identified high-potential talents from both, in and outside of the team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Passion and love for sports, brands and people.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 12 years experience in building brands.
