Job Description : We are seeking a tax executive in transfer pricing to join the tax team in India. This role will support transfer pricing operations and compliance activities including collection and analysis of large volumes of data and information supporting related party transactions globally.

In this role, you will assist with the preparation of global transfer pricing documentation i.e. updating annual local files (including functional and economic analysis). You will assist in audit including the preparation of workings and analysis to answer global audit queries. You will also develop a knowledge of Macquarie’s financial accounting ledger and management reporting system and provide adhoc analysis to stakeholders engaged in planning, controversy, and compliance related activities. You will maintain a register of TP reporting requirements (i.e. notification, filing requirements etc) and assist with the central transfer pricing allocations process, including monthly posting of TP allocations.

You will provide support process improvements and change management initiatives for transfer pricing tax reporting, including an ongoing focus on training, technology use and operational efficiencies. You will perform close interaction and management of the Financial Management Group’s relationships (including financial control teams, tax advisory, legal entity controllers etc.) and also develop practical knowledge of each of the Group’s business, operating structures and how they interrelate.

To be successful in this role, you will be qualified CA with 2-4 years of work experience in the transfer pricing field. You will also have knowledge of transfer pricing rules and regulations including international regulations (OECD guidance and developments). Experience in global TP documentation is an added advantage. You will also provide support to team members in a fast paced and dynamic environment and be a self-starter with ability to prioritise tasks and independently define, implement, and manage the processes. You will have sound working knowledge of MS office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
