Job Description : Who we are looking for
The Automation and AI India team comprises of multiple teams that build innovative solutions to help business teams function efficiently by developing automations, desktop or web applications using .NET technologies.
The team is looking for .Net developers who have a good understanding of industry trends along with State Street’s business systems and processes to support the business and client needs.
The role involves providing solutions to challenging business problems through analysis, design, development, testing and maintenance of projects and solutions.
This role can be performed in a hybrid model, where you can balance work from home and office to match your needs and role requirements.
What you will be responsible for
As a Senior .Net Developer you will
Design and develop applications from scratch using OOPs and Design Patterns.
Analyze programming issues and come up with specific solutions to meet developer needs.
Code enhancements to existing applications.
Maintain and support existing software applications.
Identify and resolve basic application issues and bugs; escalate complex application issues to management for resolution.
Test new installations and/or software prior to release to minimize failures and impact to business and end users.
Provide application support and the resolution of maintenance issues on a daily basis.
Prepare systems documentation as needed.
What we value

Must have demonstrated strong application development skill sets in C#.Net/VB.Net.
Good working knowledge of OOPs and Programming Design Patterns.
Fluency in Database management systems, T-SQL and SQL Server.
Experience with VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office), VBA (Visual Basic for Application) and MS Access.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
Candidate should have more than 5 years of software and application development experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent..
Detail oriented and able to handle multiple assignments.
Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
Good technical troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Additional requirements
Experience with WPF, ASP.NET MVC, SQL Server and RDBMS is good to have.
