Introduction:
The role is for a Salesforce Developer within Barclays Wealth processing and is a permanent position. The individual will be part of team comprising of permanent & SI partner resources and will focus on Technical Deliveries on the program.

What will you be doing?
Own 1 horizontal out of (integration, data, security, Org strategy, product offerings, etc).
Integration of the Salesforce solutions with the enterprise applications using tools and strategies as laid down by the architecture teams.
Support the Testing, Validation & User Adoption during the change lifecycle
Continuously Improve development & deployment process as per industry standards.
Contribute in designing resuable components & maintaining the artefacts on the component catalogue.

Contribute towards initiatives that help build the Salesforce Centre of Excellence.
Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and internal Barclays Policies and Policy Standards.

What we’re looking for:
In-depth knowledge and extensive experience (4+ years) of Salesforce and overall experience of 6+ years in IT industry.
Experience on development of large-scale banking applications
Application Developer profile with Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical stream
Salesforce Certifications – Admin 201, App Builder, Platform developer I and one or more domain certificates.

Skills that will help you in the role:
Extensive hands-on experience using Salesforce
Proficient in building solutions using one of more Salesforce cloud offerings like Sales, Service, Community and Marketing Cloud.
Problem solver with exposure to diverse Application Designs and System Architectures including API Integration and Data Transformation
Knowledge of java will be added advantage.
