Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is seeking to hire a Security Technical Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the client technical agenda for the recently acquired ReaQta, an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) company that has developed an innovative, AI-driven EDR platform to protect from advanced malware attacks and threats in real-time.

The ideal candidate will drive the account architecture and technical sales support for ReaQta across mid-market and enterprise level accounts. In addition, this employee will help drive support for business partner lead opportunities and be part of the critical feedback loop for our offering management team.

The Security Technical Sales Specialist will actively participate in Agile Squads in the Atlanta Digital Sales Center.

Responsibilities Include
Accountability for driving client satisfaction such that clients become promoters of the IBM Platform
Maintaining strong platform and offerings knowledge and articulates the value proposition/ROI, competitive landscape, and relevant use cases to drive sales
Application of technical and sales knowledge to create and deliver technical proof points to assist with deal closure including technical presentations, solution workshops, Request for Proposals, product demonstrations, technical education, and Proof of Concepts

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

3+ years of hands-on experience with application security/endpoint security in a project management, technical implementation or technical sales.
Good understanding of cybersecurity landscape.
Experience managing and setting customer and sales account team expectations.
Excellent customer interaction and presentation skills. Ability to present to different audiences and bring the message across in a concise, professional manner.
Experience working with business partners.
Strong written and verbal English communications skills, with experience reporting project status to an internal and customer audience.
Understanding and experience working with cloud infrastructures i.e. AWS, Azure etc
Technical knowledge and working experience in Cyber Security, offensive and defensive techniques and solutions
Comfortable in working with Linux in the areas of administration and troubleshooting
Experience in working with Windows in an Enterprise setup
Experience in working with Virtual Machines
Experience in handling malware files and simulating cyber attacks
Understand (preferably with experience) how endpoint security solutions work
Understand (preferably with experience) how SOC does security monitoring for customers”

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

A Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering is desired, preferably with a major in cyber security
5+ years of hands-on experience with application security/endpoint security in a project management or technical implementation role
Experience selling to C-Suite
