Job Description : Responsibilities: As part of the highly skilled software development team the candidate is expected to1. Self-motivate, draw the requirements, take ownership, develop and unit test any feature2. Interact / collaborate with the architects or technical leads to design and architect an optimized solution to support any client requirement3. Mentor junior developers and guide them in their day to day problem solving4. Interact / collaborate with the other team members, participate in peer review, integration testing of their codes to ensure delivery with highest possible code quality 5. Interact / collaborate with the clients / partners to understand and document the requirements and remove any queries or doubts that can impact the software delivery in a proactive manner.6. Proactively guide the stakeholders so that critical decisions can be made in an agile manner7. Interact / collaborate with the team management in a timely manner to provide a concise, accurate and measurable feedback on the delivery progress8. Adhere to the set coding standards9. Maintain discipline throughout the working daySkill required: Experienced (2.5+ years) Ruby on Rails (ROR) DeveloperThe candidates are expected to meet the following requirements:1. Strong programming ability and understanding of the advanced Ruby on Rails (RoR) concepts2. Strong object oriented programming (OOPs) skills and design skills3. Thorough understanding of industry standard design patterns4. Good Knowledge of relational databases: Mysql / Postgresql.5. Good knowledge of MVC design pattern, ORM and RestAPI6. Good knowledge of Unit Testing (TDD and RSpec)7. Any knowledge of Redis / Sidekiq would be an advantage8. Any knowledge / experience of cloud such as AWS, Azure would be an advantage 9. Any knowledge / experience of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Ajax, jQuery would be an advantage10. Any knowledge / experience of ReactJs / NodeJs would be an advantage11. Any knowledge of MongoDB or NoSql would be an advantage12. Any understanding of agile principle of development (Scrum / Kanban) would be an advantage13. Good understanding of code versioning tools like Git14. Experience with Linux operating system.15. Attention towards good design and architecture: both in terms of engineering and user experience.The right person will be a motivated individual who is willing to be flexible, manage & coordinate project works with full ownership, and be able to coordinate with our clients / partners based internationally.
