About the Role:
Rise with SAP, Business Transformation as a Service, represents a unique opportunity for SAP’s customers to move their ERP workloads to the cloud, transform their business processes and accelerate their journey to becoming an intelligent enterprise. This exciting new offering is an essential part of SAP’s cloud strategy. RISE is also central to our strategy of scaling and growing our Midmarket Segment, where we are seeing significant momentum and customer adoption.
We are looking for customer-focused Solution Sales Expert to strengthen and accelerate this momentum and will be responsible for driving GTM in Mid Market Segment. Drive Demand generation, deal execution, and field/Eco-system enablement for the entire RISE with SAP portfolio.
This is a Lead role where you will closely work with the sales teams during the entire life cycle of a opportunity. The following are the key tasks that this role will perform:
Achievement of agreed sales revenue targets in the area of RISE with SAP
Responsible for creation, monitoring and review of Business Development activities around his/her solution- or industry- specialization area. Executes innovative approaches to generate business and executes either directly or via the team Participates and actions taking on responsibility for KPI achievement.
Supervises coaching of partner to interact with prospects in large or complex SW deals in his area of solution / industry expertise in order to position the value of the respective SW or industry solution as supported by ROI, business case development, references, and supporting analyst data. Takes on responsibility for a high conversion rate between pipeline to deal closure, shortening of the sales process and improvement of win rate in order to achieve real volume business. Be an expert on the competition with their assigned industry and/or geography. Understand competitive threats (e.g., how to beat the competition).
Drives deal closure in respective territories, especially with regard to participation of new partners, Partner demand generation plan to build a business pipeline, partner competency plan to ensure partner resources are trained on the latest solution and sales content. Drive value proposition for SAP Private cloud
Develop a competitive sales strategy that anticipates competitor actions and places SAP as the best in the market to meet customer objectives.
Effectively advise and influence the customer especially within the development of business needs, decision criteria, and creation of an ROI framework, through consultative selling techniques and relevant marketing/sales campaigns.
Qualifications
Bachelors or Master’s degree with 15-18 years of experience in Leading territory & Solutions Sales experience for cloud native solutions
Collaborative style and ability to work in a networked organization with virtual teams
Strong operational and analytical abilities
Very high proficiency in customer communications and presentations
Experience presenting cloud-based enterprise application solutions
Experience selling to CXOs
Experience aligning technology solutions with desired business outcomes
Experience articulating the impact of technology on business drivers – financial, operational, and strategic
Experience and working knowledge of IaaS/PaaS/SaaS differentiators and providers preferred
Knowledge of Cloud value dimensions and their transformational impact on business
