Major Duties:
Utilizing Microsoft’s .NET infrastructure to create software solutions that meet clients’ requirements
Designing, implementing, and maintaining .NET applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems
Contributing in all phases of the development lifecycle
Understand, define, estimate, develop, test, deploy and support change requests.
Writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code
Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
Ensuring designs comply with specifications
Preparing and producing releases of software components
Transforming requirements into stipulations
Upgrading existing .NET websites and applications
Support continuous improvement
Interact with project and application stakeholders.
Direct, oversee and plan the development and testing activities of team members.
Provide mentoring and advice to team members.
Coordinate development activities with other teams, including business partners.
Provide metrics and reports on development status.
Review requirements and ensure software is developed in alignment with Bank standards, best practices and performance requirements.
Work with and influence bank-wide architecture, design & development and security standards.
Identify and manage the impact of any faults or issues.
Providing support for junior developers, Training junior staff
Work with application, infrastructure, messaging and data teams to identify and resolve support issues.
Experience
9+ years of overall industry experience
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
Key Knowledge and Required Skills
Hands-on experience developing and delivering products in a collaborative, agile team environment
Strong understanding of Object Oriented technology and standard .NET development frameworks
Advanced proficiency in C#, F#, or VB.NET; preferably all three
Hands on experience of Databases – MS SQL/ Oracle DB with PL/SQL
Excellent problem-solving skills
Strong collaboration, communication, and coaching skills
Good verbal and written communication skills

Preferred/ Recommended:
Experience with Solace, KAFKA would be an advantage.
Financial sector activities would be an advantage
Candidate should aware of CI/CD process and tools (Jira, Bamboo, Bitbucket, Nexus, ServiceNow and Release Automation)

General Requirements
Fluent written & verbal English.
Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills are required.
Experience of analysis, documentation and implementation of critical business solutions, utilizing many technologies, over tight business defined time-scales, using common software development life cycle methodologies is required.
Strong understanding of Software Development Lifecycle
Willingness to explore/learn new technologies and adapt to future development directions.
Self-starter and works effectively with minimal direction
The ability to work successfully as part of a team and independently is required.
Investment management technologies experience would be an advantage.
A proactive and self-motivated attitude is a vital part of this role, as is a flexible approach to work hours.
