Job Description : Looking for a systems administrator with 5-8 years of recent experience working in a high availability Linux based environment. Must have excellent teamwork, documentation and communications skills. Must be willing to work in a 24/7 on call rotation. This is an onsite full time position.Technical skills:Experience managing, deploying and installing Linux servers CentosPerform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backupsInstall new software releases and system upgrades, and evaluates/resolves software-related problems; installs patches when necessaryAdministers and supports core systems hardware such as: Citrix Netscaler and, Juniper Switches, Juniper routers, Juniper SRX, Pulse Secure VPN, HP Chassis, HP blades,File system and storage management skills are essential including ZFS, LVM, Volume Manager, Netapp storage and LunsStrong knowledge of fundamental networking / distributed computing and storage environment concepts and technologies LAN, WAN, routing protocols, NFS, LDAP, SAN, NAS, Fibre Channel, etc.Management of Infrastructure technologies including Git, SVN, Puppet,DNS, Active Directory.Ability to write scripts (for examples.
