Job role
The successful candidate will work on a mission-critical software development program of work. We are looking for a candidate with a strong software development background as well as team lead, or technical mentorship experience. In this role, you will understand the technical landscape, set the direction for the team, find ways to move forward when obstacles arise.
You will:Participate in system design/definition efforts.Drive software architecture/design/implementation effortsParticipate in DevOps efforts
Required Skills:10 to 15 years in C, C++, Python, and related development experienceGood understanding of TCP/IP protocol suiteExperience in various virtualization techniques.Experience leading software development projects.Experienced programmer/designer in L1/L2 in control/data plane protocol development.Experience in implementing state machines.Experience in high performance networks and algorithms.Good understanding of Linux Internals.Proven experience driving towards a goal or key objectives.Excellent verbal and written communication required to communicate both verbally and in written form with remote international teams very frequently.Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or related fieldTravel up to 10%.
Preferred Skills:Master’s in scienceWiMAX, LTE, or related protocol stack knowledge/experienceExperience with cloud technologies in any of AWS, Azure, Google Cloud
