Job summary
Amazon seeks a Treasury Analyst to support its growing operations. The position will play a key role in global operations and providing analytic decision support. This position requires a self-starter who will work on Treasury processes, analytics and reporting that provides information in a clear manner to senior management. The successful candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity, large complex data and balancing multiple competing priorities. The role will require flexibility to work in various time zones.
Key job responsibilities
Support global treasury cash operations including daily cash positioning, multi-currency fund transfers, co-ordination with front/ middle office and banks for ensuring timely settlements, investments and redemptions, bank guarantee issuances, overdraft monitoring, and bank fee analysis and reporting.
Perform in-depth data analysis including building data-models and prototypes to generate and analyze various reports, schedules, etc. to summarize findings and draw conclusions to make recommendations to management.
Develop subject matter expertise on data structures and data flows in and out of data repositories and work on transformational initiatives on data and business intelligence.
Continuously strive for simplification and automation of operational tasks including integration with the bank partners where required.
Prepare, maintain and monitor various schedules and internal processes as required by management
Provide periodic progress reporting through effective and meaningful metrics
Ensure compliance with Global Treasury internal control guidelines and policies
M.B.A from top B-school
Prior experience in global treasury operations
Experience of Cognos and treasury management systems like Kyriba, FIS etc.
Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) platforms and a true passion for data analysis, solving complex data issues and developing infrastructure for data reporting
