Purpose of the position
Deliver public training courses and in-house training solutions to the BSI standards of excellence, in order to develop knowledge and skills
Mentor & qualify new and existing tutors on tutor competencies related to information technology enables services (ITES) sector, with focus on information security, service management, business continuity management and data privacy.
Coach new and existing tutors in contemporary learning styles and accelerated learning techniques.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Ensure that value is added to customers and their business/organisation through the delivery of BSI training courses
Continually enhance the reputation and perception of BSI through excellent delivery of training courses/solutions and day-to-day interactions with customers and other key stakeholders
Mentor & qualify new and existing tutors on tutor competencies, learning styles and accelerated learning techniques.
Provide feedback to support course development in line with the new course and existing product development process and methodologies
Provide assistance with the design of training solutions (e.g. classroom, virtual, on-demand, hybrid modes of learning).
Maintain and enhance appropriate professional qualification status in relevant disciplines
Proactively engage with BSI tutors and key stakeholders to ensure continual improvement, in line with the BSI standards of excellence for training delivery
Key Results Areas
Performance of BSI India tutors as per performance indicators in the training operations manual
Delegate CSAT (9 or above, out of 10)
Training course development for various formats (classroom, virtual, hybrid, etc.)
Coaching and qualifying new and existing BSI tutors to deliver as per BSI standards of excellence
Engage with key clients and propose training solutions in accordance with BSI standards and formats. Manage key client expectations from proposal to delivery.
Deliver and participate in webinars and seminars, for respective products and industry sectors, to demonstrate BSI’s leadership position as a knowledge leader
Demonstrate continual professional development in best practices for ITES sector, with focus on information security, service management, business continuity management and data privacy. Disseminate knowledge and skills to BSI India tutors on such new products and practices.
Can qualify sales leads appropriately and pass on to relevant sales teams

Able to interpret data and information about the Customer to solve problem, add value and exceed expectations
Can be recognised by the Customer as an industry/sector or market expert and provides thought leadership/development in customer’s industry
Able to demonstrate high quality and reliability in delivery
Operational Delivery
Able to demonstrate high levels of organisational skills; ensuring all facilities, materials and equipment is to BSI standard of excellence
Can proactively deal with issues through to resolution
Able to communicate effectively with delegates at all levels in order to motive and engage and can interact with peers and stakeholders to achieve objectives
Demonstrate the ability to make improvements to course content based on customer evaluation feedback and training needs analysis
Can monitor training delivery to ensure compliance and BSI standards of excellence are met at all times
Candidate Specification
Ability to coherently deliver training courses across the full spectrum of the delegate profile (boardroom to shop floor)
Knowledge of individual learning styles and how to address these through the design and development of training courses through the use of accelerated learning techniques.
Ability to design and develop training courses and materials to meet specific aims
Proven administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage customer expectations
Understanding of tutor development processes, training needs analysis and training evaluation techniques
Where appropriate, qualified Lead Auditor in relevant disciplines.
Extensive travel with country and sometimes abroad required as is the ability to spend nights away from home.
