Position :

Job Description : Major Responsibilities:
Working knowledge of one or more high-level programming languages such as C, C++, or Fortran.
Understanding of compiler design (Code optimization, Data flow analysis, Code generation, Resource allocation, Compiler framework).
Experience with Libraries and MPIs like Intel MPI, openmpi, mvapich2, mpich2 etc.
Knowledge of high performance computing systems; scalable, parallel architectures; and aspects of the UNIX operating system.
A comprehensive knowledge of Unix operating system internals and multiple high performance computing architectures.
Experience of build procedure automake, autoconf, etc.
Strong knowledge of one or more scripting languages such as csh, bash, perl, Python, etc.
Ability to monitor system usage and performance statistics and to understand the impacts of operating system tuning parameters.
Comprehensive knowledge of Vectorization and vector processors.
Understanding of parallel file systems like Lustre, GPFS, GlusterFS etc.
Good verbal and written communication.

Key Result Areas:
Porting of scientific applications and big-data applications on multiple architectures.
Compiler transformations and source code analysis.
Performance Analysis and Tuning
Technical Documentation

Necessary Qualification/Technical Skills:
2-4 years of total IT Experience
Strong Knowledge of C/C++, Fortran
Strong Knowledge of OS concepts, memory management, cache utilization.

Special Skills:
Hadoop and Big data knowledge is a plus.
Experience in Application installation and compilation like VASP, Gromacs, gaussion, quantum espresso etc.
Knowledge of HPL Linpack, OSU Latency and IOR benchmark

Desirable:
Experience in short release cycles.
Excellent analytical and Programming skills.
Demonstrated problem solving, analytic and troubleshooting skills.
Experience in Performance Tuning
