Job Description : IntroductionWe are looking for an experienced cloud engineer to work with our development team to develop, implement, optimise, and maintain cloud-based solutions. You will be responsible for deploying and debugging cloud stacks, educating teams on new cloud initiatives, and ensuring the security of the cloud infrastructure.To be successful as a cloud engineer, you should be able to identify the most optimal cloud-based solutions for our clients and maintain cloud infrastructures in accordance with best practices and company security policies. A top-notch cloud engineer should have excellent troubleshooting skills, stay current with industry trends, and be a team player.About the companySimptel is a B2B tech startup seeking a Software Engineer to be a key contributor in our ability to provide communication and security at scale to people and organizations across the globe. This role will be with the Simptel development team. You will design, develop, deploy and operate software solutions and help Simptel deliver real-time communications products.What are your responsibilities?Collaborating with development teams to evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions.Modifying and improving existing systems.Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.Designing, developing and deploying modular cloud-based systems.Developing and maintaining cloud solutions following best practices.Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.Identifying, analysing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements.What is required?Degree in computer science or a similar field.At least 3 years of experience with AWSAWS certifications are preferred.Proficiency in cloud-based DevOps practicesExperience with containerization ( Docker)Experience with orchestration (Kubernetes, Nomad)Experience with Terraform or similar technologyTroubleshooting and analytical skillsGood communication and collaboration skillsWhat is offered?Indefinite contract12 Earned Leaves, 7 Casual Leaves, 7 Sick Leaves15 HolidaysLaptopFreedom to go to do coursesFlexible working hoursHealth insuranceJob Types: Full-time, Regular / PermanentSalary: ₹300,000.00 – ₹600,000.00 per yearSchedule:Day shiftFlexible shiftAbility to commute/relocate:Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)Education:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Cloud-based DevOps: 1 year (Preferred)AWS: 2 years (Preferred)Nomad: 1 year (Preferred)Docker: 1 year (Required)Kubernetes: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:AWS Certification (Preferred)
