About the Role:
In the recent past, Gaming as a sector has become attractive even amongst the most-timid investors. Gaming saw more than 1500 deals worth $43 billion during 2020, making it the industry darling globally. In 2020, gaming saw a huge lift due to people preferring social entertainment and partially because of the value being created by companies who practiced responsible M&A. For example, in 2020, Skills, a mobile eSports company, merged with Flying Eagle Acquisition Corp. in a transaction valuing the gaming outfit at $3.5 billion, or 6.3x 2022 revenue. Its valuation rose to ~$7 billion within 2-3 months of the merger announcement. WinZO has its own $20 million Game Developer’s Fund and a Gaming Lab in collaboration with Kalaari Capital to support India’s Gaming ecosystem. As a member of the core team of Corporate Development & Investments, you will be responsible for strategically onboarding and investing, relationship management, and identifying areas of collaboration for an organic growth. You will be working in a fast-paced environment which will require you to
take initiatives with complete ownership, manage multiple projects, and drive execution with stakeholders.

What you will do:
Design organic growth strategy for WinZO in in terms of partnerships, investments, and mergers & acquisitions and drive all stages of the investment including opportunity identification, fund allocation, bringing stakeholders together, and successful executionCreate an exciting M&A pipeline for WinZO by analysing the competitive landscape and reaching out to potential targets across all forms of interactive entertainment: games, economies around gaming, content creation, live-ops, and security.Identify, assess, and onboard potential game developers/ gaming studios working to monetize existing games; Pitch, onboard and integrate games successfully onto the platformNegotiate attractive partnership deals and ensuring mutually beneficial partnership terms that are in
line with business objectives and strategy
Manage all merger & acquisition activities with focus on due diligence and post deal integration

What you should have:
