Your role
We’re looking for someone like that to

work as part of a global agile development teamdesign, develop, implement, test and deploy java software components, in-line with agreed business requirementswork independently and be able to communicate with both business and tech stakeholderschallenge issues, call out risks in existing processes and systems in a positive manner, and propose improved solutions
Your team
You will be part of the Securities, Derivatives and Cross-Ops team located in Mumbai, India, within Group Technology function. Our portfolio of Settlements applications provide state of the art solutions to support various post trade activities, for Cash Equities and Fixed Income businesses.
Your expertise
Platform familiarity – Good knowledge of Linux fundamentals and hands on experience in Linux

Programming and Scripting languages – Hands on experience in scripting ( like Python, Groovy, Perl, Shell )
Build automation and source code management

Define and implement continuous integration : GitLab, Azure DevOps
Define and implement a continuous delivery and release management strategy
Application deployment and configuration management : Puppet
Infrastructure deployment : ARM templates, Ansible and Terraform for provisioning various resources like VMs, Postgres/MySQL/MSSQL DBs, AKS, Storage accounts
Containers and Orchestration : Docker, k8s
Provisioning and deployment of hardware and infrastructure in cloud
Implement security practices such as encryption of data in transit and at rest, secrets/certificate management using Vault etc.

Track and assess release performance and make improvements. Familiarity with tools like AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus and Grafana.

Troubleshooting build pipelines, infrastructure items etc.
