Global Finance & Business Management (GF&BM)
From managing the firm’s capital and reporting quarterly earnings to responding to and complying with regulatory requirements, more than 15,000 colleagues around the world work together every day to manage the firm’s Global Finance & Business Management (GF&BM) function. The Finance function is a dynamic organization that plays a critical role, particularly as increasing regulatory and capital requirements change the way we do business. Controllers, Planning & Analysis (P&A), CFO teams, Business Managers and Project Management make up majority of the GF&BM team.
Global Finance & Business Management (GF&BM) extends to India and is part of JPMorgan’s Corporate Center. The team supports Finance Operations, Controllers, Planning & Analysis and Business & Sales support. The teams in India are all aligned to their respective business finance teams and the sales & business teams they support globally. Locally the teams are managed under a common governance and oversight framework.
GF&BM Technology Center Of Excellence (Tech CoE)
The GF&BM Tech CoE Application Development team is involved in the design, development, maintenance, migration and production support of various automation solutions and data transformation using UiPath, Alteryx, Xceptor, Python, SharePoint, MS Access, VBA and similar tools. Typically, these will be various tactical solutions to aid process owners’ automation needs, which could be a stand-alone tool or integrate with one of the mainstream systems. The team follows agile framework to deliver these solutions and works closely with various finance operations teams to increase financial process efficiency and provide error-free results with minimum user intervention through automation. Every member of the development team works on a set of their assigned projects with their stakeholders and completes the software development life cycle as per committed timelines.
Roles and Responsibilities
This is an Analyst role within the GF&BM Tech CoE Team. The incumbent will be part of the automation development team and will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders, gathering and analyzing requirements, designing, developing and testing the solutions. The broad responsibilities will include:
Engage with stakeholders within business to understand and assess requirements and arriving at the designated solutions
Provide technical expertise and recommendations in gathering and documenting requirements, analyzing customer needs, and designing technical solutions
Develop solutions using UiPath, Python, Alteryx, Xceptor, SharePoint, MS Access, VBA
Development enhancements and provide production support to existing solutions across the team
Investigate and resolve application functionality issues and provide first-level troubleshooting and support for any data related anomalies
Ensure appropriate technical documentation is defined and maintained relative to solutions deployed
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related stream from accredited institution
4-6 years of working experience, preferably in financial services industry or finance organization
Hands on experience on Alteryx, VBA/Macros, MS Access and SharePoint
Certification in Alteryx is preferred
Hands on experience of UiPath, Python, Xceptor is desirable
Experience of visualization tool like Tableau, Qlik view etc. would be beneficial
Proficient understanding of data warehouse lifecycle

Experience with troubleshooting non-recurring and application performance-related issues
Ability to work as part of a team, sharing responsibilities and knowledge across the team

Willing to learn and upskill domain knowledge to meet changing business requirements
