As a Quality Enginner candidate will have to
Work very closely with the Feature Team lead to deliver robust test harnesses to meet complex testing needs of various projects.
Responsible for E2E Testing Delivery- Test Design, Preparation and Execution in Payments Landscape
Participate in Program Automation Delivery – As Functional Expertise and Automation Test Execution
What will you be doing?
Relevant Experience 2 to 6 years – Quality/Automation Test Engineer. Note: The Internal Eligible Candidates must have completed 12 months in the existing Role. Time Split: 80% Project Delivery, 20% Non-Core Delivery.
E2E delivery of 1 medium or couple of smaller projects deliveries with minimum supervision or own a module in medium scale project with minimum supervision.
Responsible for E2E Functional Deliveries as per Program Schedule.
Should have good understanding of Dev ops and agile.
Responsible for creating Stubs to support end to end testing activities in Payments CIO.
Execution of the existing ST and SIT regression packs and consolidated feedback to the lead on a regular basis.
Proactively take up additional deliveries / tasks
Help identify ways to increase the resource efficiency / productivity
Help define processes and follow them within area of remit
Accountable for the Test coverage
Assist leads with the test estimates and IAs of the change
Perform test execution
Work with leads on Test Strategy, Test Plan, Approach and ensure the periodical updates are provided on deliverables.
Liaise and engage landscape teams for e2e tests and other support teams
Good at Stakeholder management
Raising the RAIDs at appropriate level
Work on Lessons Learnt after Project Closure
Share the knowledge with wider teams
Participate in the initiatives impacting Testing and at least Own 1 initiative which will help improve test delivery /innovative idea to reduce waste etc.

Participate in the initiatives impacting Barclays PLC Participate in the initiatives impacting Community and Citizenship
Must demonstrate Barclays Values by taking the ownership of the tasks assigned and also going beyond to achieve the objectives
What we’re looking for:
Mandatory:
Good knowledge of Payments domain and E2E Business flows
Experience with various messaging formats (MT and ISO/XML)
Experience with System Test and/or System Integration Test phases of a medium to large scale project.
Good working knowledge of Java, Selenium, Cucumber or any Java based test automation framework
Good working knowledge of Gherkin Format and Standards
Good SQL skills
Good Unix / Linux skills
Exposure with Application/Middleware/GUI automation
Strong inclination and understanding towards Data lineage is MUST
Familiarity and working experience with AGILE delivery ways needed
Experience with requirements elicitation and solution design discussions i.e. Big Room Planning or equivalent.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience of analysing project documentation to extract requirements, system functions and other features to be tested

Global Pay Plus (GPP) experience
Good understanding of Dev Ops (Tools: git, Jenkins)
Extensive experience of testing large scale, complex integration Programs/Projects
Technical testing background desirable
PL-SQL scripting

Experience of the financial sector, specifically Payments CIO
Understanding of E2E corporate payments processing.
Educational / Professional Qualifications:
Preferred
Formal testing qualifications
Any Degree, preferably in computer science or Master
Experience of the BFSI domain.
Experience of any Payment and/or Core Banking applications
