We provide reporting solutions/requirements through finance, markets and operations reporting along with cyclical and critical controlling processes such as Forecasting, Financial Planning, Revenue Planning, Markets Leadership Planning and Cash Reporting to help you take better business decisions. With projects like Mercury, we also support business transformation, and we are continuing to expand our services to support all Regions with their reporting and analytics needs.
The opportunity
This specialised role focuses on day-to-day business purpose, managing larger team (business units) within Reporting team. In this role, candidate is expected to provide the key support to internal stakeholders to drive various initiatives, global/local projects, take business/process related decisions as need basis and provide the regular required updates to R&A CoE leadership. This role will be global role in nature and candidate is expected to be flexible with shift to support global clients.
Your key responsibilities
Performing extensive Ad hoc financial analysis and leadership decision support for the US Firm
Extensive variance / market leadership analysis to understand the reasons and operational criticalities in meeting plan.
Seasonal support in preparing the Budgets / Forecast reporting and Financial projections and business scenarios
Dashboard reporting covering key KPIs on monthly basis
Liaison between all Finance and Accounting hubs for the US, including Dallas, Cleveland, Secaucus, Calgary, Bangalore and US Leadership
Account reconciliation review of complex accounts, communication of results, and correction follow-up
Accounting procedure development and documentation
Mercury training for all balance sheet account reconciliations, fixed asset processing, bank clearing, and journal entry processing
Blackline account reconciliation training
Mercury Reporting and accounting research training for all transaction types, including, but not limited to, journal entries, open or cleared accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank activity, cash posting, and unapplied or unidentified cash
Development, coordination and communication of controls and procedures related to Reporting and General Ledger for the US

To qualify for the role, you must have
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
MBA or CA. ACCA (or equivalent) desirable
Knowledge of Hyperion SmartView, Essbase, SQL query and advanced level in Excel
Experience in SAP required
Experience in working in a globally deployed accounting organization
At least 9 – 12 years of experience in finance processes and policies
Experience in managing a similar reporting and analysis function
Ideally, you’ll also have
Exposure to Power BI, SQL or any other visualization tools
