Data Privacy Engineering Services team works on one of the most strategic topics in SAP which is the Data Privacy and Protection (DPP) reuse services in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
These services help manage different data privacy regulations like the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR)
Data Privacy Services acts as the central framework for managing privacy of personal data on BTP. Objective of the team is to build cross platform reuse services in accordance with the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
THE ROLE
Understand the concept of DPP reuse services and become an expert in managing DPP in SAP Business Technology Platform
As a full stack software developer, you will be responsible for Design, coding, testing, automation, deployment, quality assurance for service/applications which are being developed with best programming practices
Understand the containerization of microservices and their deployments into different runtimes like Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, Kyma
Experience on being part of Product Security activities like Threat Modeling, Security Validation, Security testing is an added advantage
Work in a scrum and agile development team and participate in design and architectural discussions with other engineers and architects.
Collaborating effectively with a team of enthusiastic developers and stakeholders to deliver the cloud solutions is necessary.
Resolve complex issues within own area of expertise and supports others in resolving issues.
Take up full responsibility for accepted tasks and therefore demonstrate a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency.
Enhance skills beyond own core development focus and works on other tasks for the benefit of the team.
Contributes and works on tasks and activities with high level of complexity, work could be independent and/or collaborative in nature.
Advanced overall product and technical knowledge and shares expertise within and across team.
Guide and lead developers and ensure that the necessary goal is met
Show initiative and drives topics to resolution in a high level of quality, speed, reliability and efficiency.
Constantly improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills.
Contribute to the related operations and CI/CD delivery concepts
ROLE REQUIREMENT
University Degree (B.E or equivalent) in Computer Science or related engineering subject
6 – 9 years of experience in Software Engineering.
Contributed in Design (architecture) and development of application and platform solutions.
Good understanding of cloud concepts and cloud technologies
Excellent development and design skills, Good problem-solving skills
Strong knowledge of Core Java, JEE, Java Script, Ajax, JSON, UI5, REST/ODATA and any Relation Database (HANA, MySQL)
Working knowledge on ABAP platform – ABAP as a coding language
Knowledge on SAP ABAP Platform
Passionate about learning new Products & Technology
Ability to work in highly agile team, good communication skills, team player and self-driven
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Cloud Foundry, K8S, OpenAPI Specification (Swagger), Node JS, SpringBoot, CAP, Olingo
API Management solution and Integration Technology.
Test Driven Development – TDD/BDD methodology
Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD Delivery concepts
Steampunk would be an added advantage
