What you’ll be doing
Imagination is dedicated to designing graphics processors for a growing market, including mobile, automotive, desktop & data center. You will support Imagination’s customers in the design of their products that utilize Imagination’s processor cores and drivers.
You will join a highly motivated and knowledgeable team of software and hardware engineers dedicated to delivering world-class customer service and technical knowledge to leading technology companies around the world.
You will
Be part of team defining with the customer the feature set for a release
Responsible for deciding any change request from Customer/Development and defining process to support it
Work on full graphics stack, thus a wide experience of all parts of a GPU driver
Work with high profile customers (and their customers) on impactful and market leading projects, including issues with the addition of new features, applications and performance analysis
Act as a bridge for development and application engineering team to deliver best solution for both

You have
Experience of programming languages such as C/C++ from a previous job, academia or personal projects
Skilled in software debugging and validation of Graphics and Compute applications on modern operating systems, such as Linux and Android
Experience with 3D graphics standard APIs e.g. OpenGL/OpenGL ES/Vulkan
Experience with compute APIs like OpenCL, CUDA etc.
Understanding of software and hardware aspects of graphics architectures
Understanding of Graphics drivers within high level operating systems
The ability to clearly communicate technical subjects in both written and verbal form
Excellent problem-solving skills
You might also have
A track record and demonstrable knowledge of Computer Graphic
Experience of optimization and profiling for software Graphics/Compute applications
Experience working and debugging on Integrity, QNX, VxWorks or any RTOS
Knowledge of hypervisors (e.g. Xen, Jailhouse or similar Hypervisors)
Experience interacting with opensource community and upstreaming
Automotive industry exposure and knowledge of ISO 26262, ASIL, MISRA-C coding standards
