OVERVIEW
The Data engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the data infrastructure that makes this data available and accessible to the entire company to make data driven decisions. Talend is identified as the ETL tool for the Data Services road map.

Responsibilities
To convert Data Stage Extract, Transform, Load (referred as ETL here onwards) Jobs to Talend ETL Jobs (convert, test, deploy and operationalize)
Contribute to the data design and data preparation by implementing a solid, robust, extensible design that supports key business flows.
Performing all of the necessary data transformations to populate data into Database that is optimized for reporting.
Ability to Design and develop and support schema objects, build grids, graphs, reports, documents and dashboards
Provide multi-tiered application support including – incident management, user, application and data issues, system availability and maintenance including support on call responsibilities as assigned.
Providing operational excellence through root cause analysis and continuous improvement for Data technologies and processes.

Qualifications
Education
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Mathematics/Sciences Preferred: Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems

Required Skills / Qualifications
Essential to have experience in Data Warehousing with in depth knowledge in SQL
Experience building data ingestion, data processing and analytical pipelines
Hands on experience in Talend development
Preferred DataStage skill to understand the coding and develop the same in Talend
Strong analytical skills, map business processes and requirements to a solution design.
Experience with streaming data processing frameworks (Spark Streaming, Kafka streams)
Good understanding of data modelling and data architecture
Willing to learn new technologies and tools
Experience of working in Agile methodology
