About the Role

Wells Fargo is looking for an Engineering senior Manager to drive innovation, empower and motivate a team of seasoned team members in an agile focused environment. As an Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team of experienced Software Engineers, Principle Engineers, Product Owners and Tech Analysts leading multiple products in the Automation CoE India Team collaborating with multiple engineering, product, and business teams

You have the technical breadth and depth in automating operations, experienced in developing and deploying Infrastructure As Code, strong IT Operational Experience and strong management acumen.

Job Responsibilities In this role include:
API enablement to achieve annualized savings as defined in the automation roadmap
Customer journey development to identify automation capabilities across Technology Infrastructure
Build automation platform offering – Automation Factory (Automation as a Service) & Enterprise Orchestration platform for current & future state of technology (cloud enablement)
Enable federated development through build of common services, standard patterns and practices for broader adoption
Partner with Infrastructure domains to deliver automation roadmaps
Define and implement Automation governance model to enable federated development across the organization
Mentor, grow, and empower the team by giving them the skills, confidence, and motivation to make decisions independently that lead to their personal and professional success, and enable them to become technical leaders.
Manage high-visibility projects delivery for the organization operating in an agile manner.
Manage daily deliverables, issues and resolutions, act as a point of escalation and resolution
Drive a culture of reliability, and ensuring teams are aligned around common priorities and approaches
Has a track record of managing high-performing teams whilst still being hands-on in technology
Partner with senior product leaders, operations managers, engineering managers to develop product functional and technical strategies for the LOB product portfolio.
Oversee teams to deliver commitments aligned to LOB strategic priorities.
May recommend risk management requirements for supported area and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives.
Excellent people management ability including Talent Management, Career planning, Retention, Skill building etc. working along with internal teams
Required Qualifications, International:
Experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Management experience

Market Skills and Certifications:

Scripting/Coding: .Net / C# / Python
Monitoring, Log Analytics & Observability: App Dynamics, Splunk, ELK, Prometheus
Automation: Ansible, Terraform, IPSoft (Orchestration layer), API/API Gateway
