Job Description : Experience in working with Launch team for specific EE discipline– ADAS, HV, Body electronics, Infotainment Systems) and the delivery of the associated key quality metrics
Verification of complete vehicle electrical functions
Trouble-shooting and analysis of issues, recommend solutions or alternatives to the issues
You will need to be a multi-skilled electrical/electronics engineer, with experience of working in multi discipline engineering teams, experience of automotive product design, complex systems integration and the use of advanced technologies.
You will keep regular communication with part or sub-system suppliers to ensure complete, fault free delivery at agreed milestones, with required documentation.
Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector in passenger car application’s, although other sectors are of interest. The ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision when necessary to deliver key objectives.
Experienced in ADAS systems
Knowledge of different Automotive sub systems preferred including Powertrain, Security & Body Electronics, Safety & Active Safety, Driver Controls & Interaction, Infotainment
Knowledge of working with a range of On-Car communication systems (CAN, Ethernet, Lin, Flexray) & associated Development tools to verify network signals
Experience of prototype ideally production vehicle builds and managing issue resolution
Prior Experience and specialist in working on Subsystems and Components such as Diagnostics, Infotainment etc.
You will be degree educated or significant equivalent experience or qualifications.
Ability to lead the resolution of business, technical and process issues as they arise, a record of proactive delivery and commitment to meeting deadlines and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
Knowledge of change control, product definition and change management processes will also prove invaluable.
Proven ability to influence and/or manage people. Good communication skills & networking with PD functions, suppliers, plant & PVT is essential
Conversant with GSPAS, APT, AIMS, Digibuck & GPIRS Bills of Material – Essential.
