SUMMARY
As SAP Procurement Product Team, our mission is to provide the world’s leading cloud-based spend management solution, unifying the SAP Procurement portfolio across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba Applications & Business Network, and SAP Fieldglass. We make a strong effort to integrate complex processes for buying goods and services into a unified platform that efficiently handles sourcing, payment, and everything in between. As we develop the next generation of integrated spend management cloud solutions, our unit seeks to be a frontrunner in cloud and agile mindset to software development. To strengthen further our team, we are looking for an Expert UX Designer.
THE ROLE
The Expert User Experience Designer should have a strong design leadership mindset with compelling hands-on design skills and experience in presenting to and managing relationships with stakeholders and their adjacencies on a variety of efforts that support both the business and user experiences throughout the product suite. Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to:
Define and create components, patterns and layouts for our new Procurement Design System
Provide detailed insight and expertise around the topic of Accessibility
Work closely with Product Management, Engineering and User Experience teams to evangelize and drive a comprehensive UX framework process
Collaborate with SAP design on key initiatives of Fiori Next.
Provide subject matter expertise to various areas in the procurement products
Lead one or more strategic design initiatives
Provide mentorship, guidance and onboarding to designers on the team
Actively contribute to product brainstorming and design sessions.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
10+ years of experience in user experience design preferably with B2B and/or large-scale rich internet applications and products.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in HCI, Information Science, Industrial Design, UX Design, Product Design, or similar field.
Deep experience in user experience design for design systems & frameworks.
Strong knowledge of Accessibility and desire to learn more.
Deep understanding of user qualitative and quantitative experience research methodologies.
Strong evangelization and collaboration.
Strong communication with the ability to listen and articulate positions.
Experience working with development and product owners to redefine prior existing products.
(Preferred) Previous experience working on solutions in supply chain, finance, sales, marketing, or commerce.
Experience working with Agile/Lean UX methodologies.
Good knowledge of various design and prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, etc.

The UX team is a globally distributed team based in Palo Alto, Bengaluru, Europe, Pune and Brazil. Our team’s goal is to bring consumer-like ease to large-scale enterprise products.
