JOB SUMMARY
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities including packaging, shipping and receiving raw materials and/or finished goods and maintaining inventory and associated records. People management responsibilities include training, planning and assigning daily work, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise and assist in daily warehouse and shipping areas including: Filling and shipping customer orders, satisfying internal shipping requirements (technical service, vendors, etc.), ensuring accuracy of shipments and supporting documentation, receiving incoming material and routing to appropriate area or personnel, filling work orders from production, packaging assemblies and receiving into finished goods, ensuring inventory transactions are accurately logged and overseeing cycle counts and reconciliation activities.
Coordinate with Accounting, Purchasing and QA groups for receipt of materials
Maintain identification and traceability for all items
Ensure inventory and shipping transactions and documentation are completed and all records are maintained
Maintain accurate on hand stock quantities by supervising employees according to established procedures for receiving stock into the warehouse location and picking stock for orders.
Participate in inventory audits and QMS audits.
Perform other work related tasks as required as assigned.
Comply with all NOV Company, departmental and HSE procedures and policies.
Participate in departmental meetings as required.
Escalate issues and potential resolutions to Manager as appropriate.
Perform work such that a perpetual state of audit readiness is maintained.
FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring and controlling inventory integrity by performing regular cycle counts as per policies.
Work with internal stakeholders to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
Whenever necessary Operate warehouse equipment’s and systems in accordance with established procedures
Supervise and monitor engraving, packaging and shipping process
Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
Issue job assignments to employees and evaluate employees performance.
Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of lean enterprise practices.
Dispose all rejection material

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Warehousing / Supply Chain/ Logistics
5 years minimum Warehouse experience desired
Experience with ERP system preferred.
Must be familiar with commercial terms/ formats /rules
Strong communication in English (Both Verbal and Written)
Strong analytical skills.
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee must follow all required safety instructions as per company HSE policy.
Regular punctual and Good behavior.
Ability to work with minimum guidance as well as in a team-based environment required .
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Knowledge of Import/Export Compliance and Shipping Terms is preferred
Knowledge of Inventory Management is preferred
Proficient in use of Microsoft Office suite of products.
