Role Description
QA Automation Engineers design automated tests to validate the functionality of web and mobile applications. Their job is to create the initial test designs, write the scripts, install the automation testing protocols, and report the results.

Role and responsibilities

Building test plans, test suites, and manual or automated test cases for assigned changes.
Building up environments independently to test assigned work,
Executing manual and automated tests,
Reporting the results.
Create accurate, thoughtful and comprehensive defect reports.
Investigate customer problems referred by technical support.
Engage and participate on an Agile team of a world-class software developers.
Apply independence and creativity to problem solving across project assignments.
Effectively communicate with team members, project managers and clients, as required.

Technical skills requirements

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in,

Writing and execute test cases using automation tools like Selenium Web driver.
Leading and Managing the Automation Team.
Implementing new QA initiatives.
C#, Web Api’s, Good in scripting.
Jira, Testrail, Zohodesk .
Agile/Scrum development.
Full SDLC from development to production deployment.

Nice-to-have skills

Good experience on UI Testing ( Selenium) and API Testing ( RestAssure)
Preferable a SDET
Exposure to Mobile App testing is an added advantage.

Qualifications

4 to 6 years of work experience in systems or application development
B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer Science background is preferred.
