Key Responsibilities:
Subject matter expert in the Financial Accounting and Reporting domain
Strong understanding of the end-to-end processes namely Procure to Pay, Order to Cash,
Record to Report, including Controllership
Leadership skills in a multi-cultural environment
Proven experience in a Financial Accounting and Reporting function
Manage the Financial Accounting and Closing of the Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
accounts at the end of every month
Embrace full ownership of assigned tasks which includes ledger entries, reconciliations and
substantiation
Manage operational activities like raising invoices, vendor payments, intercompany/branch
reconciliations and settlements, bank entries, month/quarter/year-end entries
Analysis and reporting of financial results to the management
Key contact for Financial Accounting & Reporting matters concerning the client including
external reporting, external audits, income tax filings, etc.
Experience in Change Management
Foster an environment of high collaboration, knowledge sharing, continuous improvement
and contribute to establishing a great reputation of the team
Lead the build-up of central expertise in multiple accounting, valuation and reporting
standards, including supporting documentation and knowledge transfer
Lead the Accounting, Reporting & Compliance team in Bangalore. Complete the set-up of
the new team, fully embed it and manage the local onboarding and training activities of any
further new joiners
Core Skills:

Company and Client’s requirements and effectively communicate ideas

Maintain good relationships with the Client
Good organisational skills including event planning skills
Ability to prioritise deliverables effectively and ensure accurate and timely delivery within
multiple deadlines

Excellent leadership and analytical skills with the ability to deliver quality output with short
deadlines and to manage details without losing sight of the big picture
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at management level and lead meetings
efficiently, including virtual meetings using modern communication tools
Experience working in a highly professional, international and fast paced environment
Strong coaching and mentoring skills
Strong relationship building and networking skills
Demonstrated experience in successfully working in a matrix environment with multiple
reporting lines and people from different backgrounds and cultures
Results oriented with strong sense of urgency
Self-starter and ability to work under time pressure and independently
Adaptability to changing priorities and working environments

Educational Background:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce is a must
7-10 years of experience in the field of accounting, reporting and compliance
3-6 years of experience in handling team members is an added advantage
