Mission – The Ads team is responsible for monetizing Truecaller inventory through ads by offering targeted advertising solutions to our demand partners.

Product Features – Display/Video Ads, Audience/Device/Geo/Custom targeting, Roadblocks/CPM/Programmatic.

Responsible for – Building ads solutions and selling our ads offerings to our advertiser partners in India and outside

As a Associate QA Engineer, you will play a key role in assuring and improving our product quality, making sure that we are giving a world class experience to our users.

Your responsibilities include taking part in planning and maintaining our testing processes and structures, as well as contributing to the test automation activities in the team. You will be part of a cross-functional team and work closely with the whole development team, fellow Test Engineers, and Product Owners

What do we expect from you

Experience of 2 to 4 years as a Software Test Engineer preferably from Product based or startup organisations.
Should be someone who is good at coding and has basic understanding of elementary data Structures.
Should be able to come up with a variety of Test Cases for any given scenario.
Good understanding of design of distributed web applications.

What will you work on

Owning end to end quality of a set of features and ensuring that all code that gets shipped to production is tested for quality.
Creating Test Plans and executing those with test results/matrix.
Automating manual test cases and integrating with build pipelines to ensure sanity of each and every build.
Identifying, Troubleshooting and logging bugs in the applications under test and doing exploratory testing of the entire product.

It would be great if you also have

Understanding and hands-on experience in UI test automation on mobile platforms, both/either Android & iOS and REST API Automation.
Familiarity with AdTech would be a huge bonus.
Should be able to contribute to Product Specs and Documentations.
Experience in tools like Postman, Charles Proxy.
Experience with any scripting tools/languages like python or js is a plus
Experience with Android testing frameworks such as Espresso and Appium
