Job Description
The goal of the project is to develop a stable and production-used SDN controller to handle
hundreds of switches and build L2 flows between different customers’ devices.
The solution consists of administrator-facing GUI and backend on Java.
Main project goals are:linking clients with other telecom and cloud providers via an L2/L3 network;provide telemetry data for a global network.State-of-the-art test framework for API testing built on Groovy (Spock) stack, BDD
approach and no technical limitations;
Advanced CI-CD solution for product delivery and testing activities;Github-based open-source code.
Responsibilities:
Review proposed architecture solutions and take part in their break-down, estimation;Analyze features requirements, user stories and design test artifacts: test plans, test
cases, BDD scenarios;
Development of automated tests for new and existing features;Basic failures troubleshooting (including 3rd-party tools);Network environment preparation/diagnostics, test environment setup;Reporting test results, release management;Communication with customer and other vendor’s teams
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in software projects as Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control
engineer;
Knowledge of Java;Experience in API testing;Basic RDBMS/SQL knowledge;*nix systems experience;At least basic knowledge of networking (OSI model, TCP/IP, etc.);Good troubleshooting, communication, organizational and time management skills;English on the intermediate level or higher.
Will be a plus:
Advanced experience in networking;Spock framework experience;Experience with Groovy, Python, Bash;Experience with Jenkins, ELK stack, AWS;Experience with graph databases (OrientDB/Neo4j etc.);Experience with SDN, NFV;Experience with Ethernet traffic analyzers (wireshark, tcpdump);Experience with Docker.
