Do you have a number of years’ experience as a business development representative or in lead generation and have a hunter mindset to deliver fast results? Do you have experience working within a global software organization? If so, we would like to hear from you.
We are looking for a Business Development Representative who is ambitious, motivated and will hit the ground running to play a key role in delivering volume based prospecting activities for our sales teams. About the Role
The Business Development Representative will :
Hit or exceed your monthly and annual targets and maintain consistently strong performance at 100% of YTD goals
Hit or exceed daily contact targets and activity metrics
Calling marketing leads, data base generated lists provided by Marketing, and referrals to nurture and create pipeline sales opportunities for our suite of solutions across all segments.
Prospecting and cold calling self-generated lists (e.g., from social marketing mediums or Salesforce prospect lists) where appropriate
Secure sales appointments through calling, emailing, social media and other lead generation activities
Qualify and follow up inbound leads coming from different sources / prospecting list
Undertake activities in support of Marketing campaigns and events to support the organizations’ strategic objectives
Manage the lead pipeline and workload through the effective use of CRMs, telephone and other supporting technology
Provide insight and business intelligence to improve effectiveness and performance across all lead channel activities and campaigns
Develop and build sustainable relationships with internal sales stakeholders
About You
You’re a fit for this Business Development Representative role you will have:
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
Self-starter & quick learner
Active LinkedIn profile. Knowledge of research tools is a plus
Engaging, energetic and coachable communicator with a keen interest in sales and/or marketing
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Agile learners – ability to learn something new
Commitment to a schedule that coincides with the customer’s workday
Strong customer service and organization skills
Excellent interpersonal skills – the ability to communicate, persuade and influence diverse stakeholder groups
A team player able to work collaboratively and in a complex matrix environment
Results focused and self-motivating
