Role Description
Purpose of Role
As a Solution Architect you develop solutions and strategies based on IT standards, leading customers and partners over technical and business hurdles of adoption of latest technologies. The role requires flexibility to wear different hats at different times. This role covers a broad range of relevant technologies including: networking, security, compute, storage, database, enterprise applications and requires strong technical and business leadership including project management, value analysis, change and risk management.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Work as a technical leader in the given area/domain for our customers
Assist with RFP responses and architecture validation of projects
Organize technical workshops and facilitate the sharing of knowledge across the teams
Assist customers define the approach, tools, and end state architecture
Assist customer build industry & technology solutions
Collaborate with customer team and drive customer POCs to completion
Validate POC architectures, deliverables, SOWs, project plans, and other assets required to successfully deliver customer engagements
Strong experience in migrating datacenters workloads towards Azure/AWS.
Strong understanding of the entire MS Azure/AWS products and their applicable use cases, best practices and implementation, and support considerations
Expert experience in Windows environments including Active Directory, Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) upgrades, consolidation, and migration projects including ADMT migrations, AD LDS, and LDAP integration is a plus.
Expert experience within Architecture, Design and implementation of complex, highly available and highly scalable solutions
Should have working knowledge of Azure/AWS Migrate (tool to be used) and familiar with app assessment methodology
Strategy & Innovation: articulate business/industry fundamentals (e.g., ROI, CBA, TCO); understand regulations and operational excellence; familiarity with business strategy and trends in the IT industry (e.g., CI/CD, IoT, Predictive Analytics)
Technology Breadth: demonstrate architectural best practices applied across a breadth of technologies to solve organizational problems, articulate views/roadmaps for future development, and understand the interaction between infrastructure, operations, and development
Technology Depth: demonstrate detailed knowledge of concepts, implementation, patterns, and issues of at least one technology area; demonstrate the ability to quickly assimilate information about new technologies and business models
