Job Description : Overview:

Vectrus is looking for a highly motivated, Cloud Infrastructure Services Analyst. The successful candidate will understand how to leverage all the capabilities of tools, such as Microsoft Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, Microsoft 365 Desktop Analytics and Azure Application Insights, to proactively monitor the performance, availability, and capacity of cloud infrastructure services and enterprise applications.
Cloud Infrastructure Services Analysts work with ecosystem members to act on events before they adversely affect the services; work with analysts from other cloud service teams to understand their demand forecasts for cloud infrastructure services and are responsible for the monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting and reporting for overall operational performance and user experience.
Experience with DEM and cloud monitoring tools from vendors such as Lakeside Software, Aternity, nexthink, Catchpoint, Datadog and Dynatrace etc. is an advantage. The ideal candidate will look to continually improve both system reliability and the overall digital experience.

Responsibilities:
Lead efforts to establish and maintain a modern enterprise infrastructure and service monitoring solution, utilizing largely native Microsoft tools
Work with customers and stakeholders to develop correlation, visualizations, reports and dashboards
Create and maintain documentation specific to monitoring tools and data mapping/relationships
Build a business service map showing a visual representation of the hierarchical relationships between all services and their component configuration items
Authoring of scripts (reporting, API integration with other monitoring tools, automation, etc.)
Identify gaps in existing monitoring solutions and recommend remedial actions
Drive reliability, availability, and performance initiatives through a quantitative lens.
Qualifications:
Education / Certifications:
College degree or equivalent experience, technical degree beneficial.
One of the following certifications required:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
One of the following certifications desired:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert,
MCSE: Core Infrastructure
Experience:
3+ years’ experience with the following technologies:
Kusto Query Language
Microsoft GitHub experience
REST API Knowledge/Support
Deployment of Azure Resources using ARM Templates & PowerShell
PowerShell/Python Script authoring experience
Strong Windows and Linux Administration experience
System Center Support Experience (SCOM, SCORCH, SCCM, VMM)
AAD and RBAC
Azure Monitor
Azure Log analytics
Microsoft 365 Desktop Analytics
Azure Application Insights and
Azure Advisor
Azure Automation
Azure Service and Resource Health
Azure Network Watcher
AWS (not required but a plus)
Solarwinds, Palo Alto Panorama, Meraki Monitoring, Oracle Enterprise Manager (not required but a plus)
Skills & Technology Used:
Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively communicating technical information in English, both written and verbal.
Outstanding customer service skills
Familiarity with designing, building, and maintenance of cloud environments in Azure, utilize IaaS, Pass, and SaaS Cloud Service model in Microsoft Azure.
Knowledge of cloud-based storage and database concepts including SQL, COSMOS, Azure tables, BLOB.
Familiarity with asynchronous communication mechanism design and implementation using messaging and storage frameworks like Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, etc.
Knowledge of enterprise web application with distributed components, web services and Microservices using various system level and Object-Oriented architectures.
Ability to collaborate with other architecture teams i.e., Applications, Network, Database, Infrastructure, Security, etc.
Ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment and interact with a broad customer base with diverse needs and functional responsibilities.
