Job Description : Your field of responsibility
We invite you to join us on the Group Financial Reporting team where you will work on the Group Close Management team. This position allows the individual to develop as a Subject Matter Specialist (SME) in respective topics, build and retain relationships with business partners across multiple functions, as well as the opportunity to present to and interact with senior management. Your responsibilities include:
Opportunity to provide accounting disclosure advice, maintain effective positive communication and support to various Credit Suisse entities based world-wide
Preparation of monthly topsides, providing the opportunity to gain a deep understanding of the complexity of a global bank’s inter-entity booking process and unique transaction set up
Preparation of the US GAAP Non-Compliance material presented to Senior Management
Preparation of consolidated US GAAP analytics for the CS Group and preparation of various reports and disclosures that are published in the Consolidated Quarterly/Annual Financial reports
Presentation of disclosure analytics to Senior Management
Identify, plan and execute efficiency improvements, optimization of reporting processes and creation of new reports including significant liaison with IT for defining new solutions in reporting and data submission

You would join the Group Close Management team within Group Financial Reporting, which is responsible for the preparation and analysis of disclosures in the published Credit Suisse Group financial-statements filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Through the various financial close tasks, the team gives the opportunity for an individual to gain exposure to a broad range of financial reporting and accounting topics, as well as insight into the business and operations of the Bank.
We are looking for a candidate with an open and positive personality with excellent project management, interpersonal, technical and analytical skills combined with an ability to understand and communicate complex issues in a simple and effective manner.

Your skills and experience
You are a Qualified Accountant (CA, ACCA, or CPA) that brings the following relevant skills to the team:
Minimum 3-5 years of relevant post-qualification experience within the Finance industry, focused on Financial Accounting and Reporting
Solid understanding of US GAAP / IFRS accounting and reporting standards
Good SOX control conscious and understanding the basics of: designing and implementing new controls, testing controls, and control improvement/remediation activities
Outstanding MS Excel skills and other MS Products. Experience in working with a consolidation system (Hyperion) is advantageous
Ability to handle simultaneous assignments and prioritize tasks accordingly to ensure workload is accurately and efficiently managed and delivers against deadlines
Are a proactive, motivated, flexible and team-orientated individual with strong written and verbal communication skills
