Thornton Tomasetti is seeking an analyst to support global FP&A in our mid-sized professional services environment. An ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have demonstrated experience in managing complex business data into insightful outputs, building/maintaining financial plans/models, and communicating in a concise manner.
Responsibilities include:
Facilitate the conversion of current analyses, and the creation of new ones, into Power BI
Help improve FP&A processes through standardization and automation, leveraging tools including but not necessarily limited to Power BI.
Support monthly analyses of financial results, including revenue, expenses and an array of KPIs.
Support the development of flexible financial models to answer queries and pressure test hypotheses.
Support the development and subsequent management of a companywide data warehouse.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
Established affluence in Power BI, as both end user and developer.
Proficiency in MS Office solutions, particularly Excel and Power Query, including pivot tables, macros, and advanced functionality for querying and data management.
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting, with MBA or advanced credentials preferred.
Proficiency in external data sourcing, both within MS Office and in other capacities.
Exceptional problem solving, project management, relationship building and oral/written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work well with others both remotely and in person, in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Demonstrated experience supporting a multi-national organization preferred.
