Job Description : As a Software Engineer focuses on mobile development, you’ll collaborate with internal teams to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications and components writing clean code, while working in a fast-paced environment.Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, document, release and support)Gather specific requirements and suggest solutionsWrite unit and UI tests to identify malfunctionsTroubleshoot and debug to optimize performanceHelp estimate the complexity and workloadDesign interfaces to improve user experienceLiaise with product management team to plan new featuresEnsure new and legacy applications meet quality standardsResearch and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocolsStay up-to-date with new technology trendsRequired Candidate profileProven experience (min 4+ years) developing applications for mobile platforms iOSWell versed in one or more of iOS, Swift, Objective CUnderstanding of mobile device concepts and user experience considerationsGood experiance in RESTful apis, web services that are consumed by mobile applicationsExperience with cloud hosted solutions would be a plusUnderstanding of data structures, algorithms and OOP design principlesDemonstrable portfolio of released applications on the app stores would be an added advantagePreferred Candidates: The successful candidate will have a self-motivated, get-it-done attitude; strong problem-solving ability & analytical skills; the ability to think critically; enjoy working with teams spread globally and across cultures; a desire to learn in new areas; and the discipline to pay attention to deadlines, details and quality.Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with teams distributed globally.B.
