Job Description : A Typical Week In The Life Of a Manager – Communications- Conducting training sessions of our various educational programmes for different student groups. You will be trained to be a trainer. Everyone in SkillSphere’s core team and management team is a trainer and conducts workshops.You will be stationed in Mumbai and will be responsible for conducting our workshops in different schools spread across Mumbai. You will also have to travel for workshops in different parts of the country on a case-to-case basis. Apart from this, a few online workshops will take place from time to time which you have to conduct.- Managing and effecting collaborations with other organizations that will benefit SkillSphere in growing its overall blueprint- Developing a basic social media strategy and ensuring its execution through the provided team- Ensuring the updation of the website and other online properties through regular correspondence with internal and external teams- Looking into basic design work and guiding the graphic designer at SkillSphere in this regard- Developing and proof-reading student reports for different workshops.- Working with SkillSphere Education’s core team on planning and strategization on a weekly basis.- Attending team meetings and contributing to other areas of work including events, initiatives and other cross-functional workWhat Should You Be Good At? – Interpersonal Communication. To be a trainer, you need to be a great communicator. Without that, it is impossible to engage an audience. Additionally, this is a communications role. So interpersonal communication is super important- Teaching. You need to be passionate about teaching. The rest we will manage for you!- Collaboration – Basic social media knowledge- Basic knowledge about managing websites etc. You will be further oriented for this as well- Seeing the bigger picture. If you are going to be a part of our team, you need to have a vision for yourself and align it with that of the company. We aren’t looking for someone interested in a 9 to 5 job only!- You must be passionate about the field of education and teaching students: We are looking for people who are motivated about influencing social change through skill set developmentHow Do We Assess Work? SkillSphere Education follows a system which monitors task completion by all employees as per pre-decided timelines on a weekly basis. We value efficacy and efficiency over everything else. In case you get selected for this position, client and student feedback about your performances as a trainer; and the quality of content developed and managed, are important aspects that will be assessed on a weekly basis.Additionally, since you are a part of the management team, we shall continuously work on training you in various aspects related to leadership. Your ability to manage your team and optimize their efficiency is very important.Where Will You Be Working From? You will be based out of Mumbai.
