Job Description:
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to
Responsible for devising and implementing strategy for fostering excellent alumni relations as per the requirements of IFMRGSB. Build and manage alumni across the university: full-time UG, PG, PhD as well as part-time PG and diploma and certificate programs. Deploy easy-to-use, mobile-first digital platform for easy alumni enrolment, engagement and experience management, update, tracking and measurement of impact
Engage with and provide a unique experience to the alumni so that they:
a) Are apprised with all the key developments in the institution
b) Pursue higher education (including MBA, PhD, diploma and certificate programs) as part of their continuing education/professional learning at Krea University
c) Contribute back to the university as a part-time or adjunct faculty, chief guest, student mentor for both in-campus and professional learning programs
d) Champion and catalyse funding for a broad canvas of activities—student scholarships, chairs, research, building expansion, overseas linkages, sponsorships, among others
e) Evangelize the university in their respective organisations as well as with external networks, and enable placement, internship and other opportunities for students; enhance student enrolment, among others
f) Be goodwill ambassadors of the university’s values, culture and ethics
Develop implement and manage excellent alumni relations strategy of the organisation through constant communication with alumni through phone, email, personal interaction, social media etc
Connect and engage with former students of various programs in addition to the current and incoming students, organise for student reunion and build a strong relationship
Implement activities to strengthen alumni network in consultation with the Department Head.
Coordinate, schedule and organise alumni functions, reunion, alumni and/or student relations, recognition and awards and other interaction/networking events
Manage and update alumni database. Monitor expenses, activities and manage budget
Tap opportunities to recover contacts, liaison between the institute, committee, external relations, communications team and alumni members
Manage volunteers to work with alumni committee. Support other departments in undertaking activities which will promote good alumni relations.
Communication with external relations/PR team for necessary communication including print and online publications, social media, web services for alumni etc
Analyse and evaluate the effectiveness of the programs/event and services and implement necessary improvements
Any other task as assigned by the management from time to time
